It's not harsh (just watch that you don't get it in your eyes because if you do you'll never feel such pain) on your skin and it is a really great way to keep the dead skin flakes away without overdrying and causing more flakes. It keeps acne at bay, and rinses off SO clean you won't have one bit of residue. A perfect ten! Well...five...
